The Airpura F614 is identical to the Airpura F600 with the exception of an upgraded particle filter. The Airpura 614 units are configured with the SuperHEPA filter which will capture 99.99% of airborne particles at least .3 microns in size.
We recommend the Airpura F614 when formaldehyde vapors are the main concern. Even those who are not particularly senstive to chemicals can suffer symptons ranging from mild to severe when exposed to formadelyde and similar vapors. Such symptons may include headache, fatigue, emotional distress, anxiety, dizziness, impaired memory, nausea, breathing difficulties, loss of mental focus, chest pains, burning eyes, sinus discomfort, and insomnia. The best approach is to avoid exposure to chemical fumes as much as possible. To that end, the F614 has been designed specifically to capture formadelyde by adsorbing the offending particles as they pass through the air purifier. As air circulates through the F614, offending molecules are extracted by becoming attached to the surface of the specialized carbon. Odors and Chemicals: While the Airpura F614 has been specially designed to capture formadelyde and similar vapors off-gassing from construction materials, new furniture, rugs, paints, lacquers, cleaning supplies, adhesives, pesticides, and other VOC-producing objects, this unit will also effectively remove normal household odors such as caused by cooking, smoke, pets, and mildew. Particles: In addition to its excellent odor and chemical removing capabilities, the F614's medical grade SuperHEPA filter captures dust, dander, pollen, mold spores, and other small particulates. The fan will move 560 cubic feet of air per minute through these filters, cleaning up to 2,000 square feet. In a smaller space, the Airpura F614 will provide more air exchanges per hour which will result in even cleaner air. This is a good choice for someone wishing to avoid formaldehyde fumes in their environment. It is also recommended for anyone with allergies or asthma or anyone who would just like to breathe healthier air at home or in the office.

| The Airpura F614 is recommended for use in environments with elevated amounts of formaldehyde which can be released from new furniture and carpets or from construction materials. It also contains a medical grade true SuperHEPA filter to capture particles such as dust, dander, and pollen. 
For higher levels of contamination, consider the F600-DLX which has 26lbs of the Enhanced carbon found in the F600 and F614. The F600-DLX, however, cannot be upgraded to SuperHEPA filtration.
