I600+ HEALTHCARE APPLICATIONS - The Airpura I600+ has been specially designed to clean air of particulates. The extra large hospital HEPA filter has over 100 square feet of filtration surface. The I600+ is a good choice for use in medical settings as well as any environment with a heavier than typical particle load.

This unit is identical to the I600 unit except for an upgrade to the HEPA filter. The I600+ is configured with metal end caps on the large HEPA filter. This upgrade will be important to those who are chemically sensitive.

Smoke Prefilter: The prefilter in the Airpura I600+ can be upgraded to the TarBarrier prefilter found in the T600 smoking unit. This filter catches the sticky tars found in tobacco smoke and prevents the carbon from becoming prematurely contaminated. Recommended when tobacco smoke is present. Depending on usage replace every 1 - 6 months $99 6/pack
