V600 Carbon Filter: The carbon filter in the Airpura R600 can be upgraded to the Super-blended 18lb carbon filter found in the V600. Optimized for removal of VOC's like formadlehyde or ammoniazoids but also effective for non-chemical odors as well. Up to 2 years $279
F600 Carbon Filter: The carbon filter in the Airpura R600 can be upgraded to the specialized 18lb carbon filter found in the F600. Optimized for removal of formaldehyde and other VOC's. Up to 2 years $309
Smoke Prefilter: The prefilter in this model can be upgraded to the TarBarrier prefilter found in the T600 smoking unit. This filter catches the sticky tars found in tobacco smoke and prevents the carbon from becoming prematurely contaminated. Recommended when tobacco smoke is present. Depending on usage replace every 1 - 6 months $99 6/pack
