The Airpura V614 is identical to the Airpura V600 with the exception of an upgraded particle filter. The Airpura 614 units are configured with the SuperHEPA filter which will capture 99.99% of airborne particles at least .3 microns in size.
We recommend the Airpura V614 when chemical fumes are a problem. Even those who are not particularly senstive to chemicals can suffer symptons ranging from mild to severe when exposed to certain vapors. Such symptons may include headache, fatigue, emotional distress, anxiety, dizziness, impaired memory, nausea, breathing difficulties, loss of mental focus, chest pains, burning eyes, sinus discomfort, and insomnia. The best approach is to avoid exposure to chemical fumes as much as possible. To that end, the V614 has been designed specifically to capture volatile organics compounds (VOCs) by adsorbing the offending particles as they pass through the air purifier. As air circulates through the V614, offending molecules are extracted by becoming attached to the surface of the specialized carbon. Odors and Chemicals: While the Airpura V614 has been specially designed to capture chemical fumes off-gassing from construction work, new furniture, paints, lacquers, cleaning supplies, adhesives, pesticides, and other VOC-producing objects, this unit will also effectively remove normal household odors such as caused by cooking, smoke, pets, and mildew. Particles: In addition to its excellent odor and chemical removing capabilities, the V614's medical grade SuperHEPA filter captures dust, dander, pollen, mold spores, and other small particulates. The fan will move 560 cubic feet of air per minute through these filters, cleaning up to 2,000 square feet. In a smaller space, the Airpura V614 will provide more air exchanges per hour which will result in even cleaner air. This is a good choice for someone wishing to avoid chemcial fumes in their environment. It is also recommended for anyone with allergies or asthma or anyone who would just like to breathe healthier air at home or in the office.

| The Airpura V614 is recommended for use in environments with elevated amounts of volatile organic compounds (VOCs)such as fumes released by new rugs and furniture or pesticides. It also contains a medical grade true SuperHEPA filter to capture particles such as dust, dander, and pollen. The Enhanced carbon is formulated to absorb fumes from paints and lacquers, cleaning supplies, building materials and furnishings. This model will also address the kinds of vapors found in offices, including correction fluids and carbonless copy paper, graphics and craft materials, glues and adhesives, permanent markers, and photographic solutions and emissions from copiers and printers.  For higher levels of contamination, consider the C600-DLX which has 26lbs of the Enhanced carbon.
